Relic Armor
Most relic armor, similar to artifact gear, drops from monsters in the various Dynamis zones. The legendary Paladin shield Aegis, which is also a relic, is obtained through an arduous quest similar to those for relic weapons.
Some pieces of relic armor offer stat bonuses unmatched by anything else in Vana'diel.
