Scenarios
Chapter 1: Forest and Woods
The Seventh Hammer meets you outside the entrance to Rivervale, a once-peaceful Halfling community now touched by the ravages of war. "Greetings, Oathbound!" he says. "You have proven to be a worthy asset. Now, I want to introduce you to our Norrathian allies." He takes you through a secret entrance into the city. Soon you reach a hall with many workers poring over scrolls and maps. "Hail, brothers!" proclaims The Seventh Hammer, as he turns to you, "Welcome to the Sanctum, where our Oathbound acolytes secretly crusade against Chaos."
- Scenario 1: Breach the Citadel - Your friend Uxmar the Acolyte has been taken prisoner by the Chaos Lord, Laricel. He is being held captive in the Goblin fortress of Runnyeye Citadel, and you must rescue him.
- Scenario 2: Dark Times in Kithicor - You encounter Zelos, a powerful Necromancer and Chaos Overlord who can regenerate his health at the cost of one of his minions. His army of zombies and skeletons seek to end your Oathbound saga.
- Scenario 3: Explore the Creep - You enter Corathus Creep and explore the vast underground mushroom forest, seeking Antraygus, the Sporali King. You attempt to speak with him about the Chaos Overlords, but he will have no part in this.
- Scenario 4: Clockwork Escape - Resolved to head north towards Lavastorm in search of Varanna, the Overlord of Pyres, you are attacked by a Clockwork army led by a mighty Clockwork Taskmaster. You must run away or die!
Chapter 2: Flame and Frost
Heading for Lavastorm, you encounter another Chaos Overlord and negotiate a deal with a mighty Dragon. This arrangement requires you to free a second legendary Dragon from her icy prison.
- Scenario 5: Into the Mountains - With the information you got from the Gnome, you track down the Chaos Overlord Varanna in the Lavastorm Mountains.
- Scenario 6: King of Fire - With a head start on Varanna, you journey to Solusek's Eye to confront Lord Nagafen and convince him to oppose the forces of Chaos.
- Scenario 7: Queen of Ice - You decide to journey to Permafrost, to free Lady Vox from imprisonment.
Chapter 3: Hatred and Warfare
Before you can break camp outside of Permafrost Keep, you are visited by an old friend, Uxmar the Acolyte. 'Oathbound, we have been following your exploits with great interest,' he begins. As you further investigate the machinations of Chaos, your travels lead you to a battle with the Daughter of Hate and a chance to take the fight to the Plane of Tactics and Rallos Zek himself.
- Scenario 8: Daughter of Hate - An army of Dark Elves grows stronger in Highpass Hold, led by the Daughter of Hate herself. You must find out if there is a connection to the Masters of Chaos.
- Scenario 9: Avatar of War - A sudden ambush from the Plane of War catches you off guard and you must defend against the manifestation of Rallos Zek and his two sons.
- Scenario 10: The Lich Revealed (optional) - You discover that Lucan D'Lere is a powerful lich, and has been working with the Chaos Overlords. It's time to teach Lucan a lesson.
