I always thought imitation was the source of flatulence.

Parody is the sincerest form of flattery.
A truly secure and confident artist knows that a when someone makes a parody, it means someone thought enough of your work to poke fun at it. Case in point, Kurt Cobain thought Weird Al Yankovic's version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" was awesome:
Wikipedia wrote:
Kurt Cobain of Nirvana said that the band felt they had "made it" after Yankovic recorded "Smells Like Nirvana," a parody of the grunge band's smash hit, "Smells Like Teen Spirit."[6] On his Behind the Music special, Yankovic stated that when he called Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain to ask if he could parody the song, Cobain gave him permission, then paused and asked, "Um... it's not gonna be about food, is it?" Yankovic responded with, "No, it'll be about how no one can understand your lyrics." According to members of Nirvana interviewed for Behind the Music, when they saw the video of the song, they laughed hysterically. Additionally, Cobain described Yankovic as "a musical genius."
Random Trivia (?):IIRC, the two videos actually went up against each other at that year's Grammies.
Other artist approved of Weird Al too. Not everyone has, though. Eminem reportedly forced Weird Al to halt production on a parody of "Lose Yourself." I would say, though, that Eminem is one of those artists who are way too full of themselves. :)

Odd Eminem would be against a parody, considering he is one.Mets Season: 70-92

No, he's a wannabe. (Would "wigger" be appropriate here?)
If he was a parody, he'd be interesting.

I'm kinda new to all this.
Does Tailmon really need praise for spelling two words correctly?

Tailmon has Dyslexia which causes her to misspell a lot of things. Sometimes it's better than others, but it's almost it's own meme here in the OOT.

Understood. So it's not a running joke, it's a serious condition which has been made light of.
My god, there's a lot to pick up on when you first start reading these threads more than once every three months.

No, I was referring to a farm tool designed to accommodate roughly 90% of the earth's human population.
What are you, some kind of peasant?

Because I don't have a MMO to get in the way of Alla'ing.
Plus, I'm on holiday this week and it's kind of a "well, you've got a week to take, so take it" deal. I don't have anything to do, really.

I love the phrase "on holiday." I would start to imitate those who use that phrase but the southerners here would just thinking I was putting on airs and imitate me behind my back.
