Is it possible to bring 3 SAM's and either a WAR or COR (can be either) and drop him without a whole lot of concern if we all 2 hour? Would have probably 2 WHM's as support (or WHM & RDM or SCH). Or would it be safer to go slower/steady until a certain % and then unload?

Tenzen is pretty much the definition of a zerg fight. There's no set percentage that he gets harder at like the Promyvion bosses, he'll just unequivocally decide to end the fight if it lasts too long.

I'd say have your 4th go COR and the last two as WHM, and just have everyone 2-hour. Any actual combat will be over in ~60 seconds as long as everyone involved has reasonable gear and doesn't go afk.

One more quick follow up...

3 SAM's, COR, WHM for sure. I misspoke and our other option doesn't have WHM up, but has RDM and BLU. Would it be better to go RDM for curing or even /DRK CS+Stun or BLU for HeadButt and some Healing Breath curing?

Personally, I don't do this fight without a RDM/DRK, which is usually me.

CSS helps a lot with keeping the zergy melees from dying. Can even add in some damage himself too (Stun, Blizzard, Stun, Blizzard, Stun...)

Yeah, he said he read BLU was great for interrupting Skillchains and when I started asking if BLU would be better than RDM it was pretty much a d'uh moment about RDM/DRK :p

We're gonna 2 hour Zerg him anyways, so might as well.

Oh...Chaos Roll is a given, but any thoughts of a good 2nd roll? Samurai roll with everyone 2 houring I thought would be a waste...not sure if any of their WS's can crit so Rogue's roll would be a waste. Leaning towards Fighter's Roll as the 2nd?

Well, BLU would probably be a decent zerg job too. I just don't know how well Head Butt works in this fight, and the SAMs are probably going to end it in short order anyway.

It might not be if we were able to gain TP from hits while Meikyo Shisui is active, but we can't, so you're right

If you're talking about the SAM's "Big 3", then yes, they cannot crit (unless used with Sneak Attack)

So yeah, I can't really think of anything you would use other than Fighter's Roll.
