Build shadow faction quickly to maximize effectiveness of cards. Use avatar ability to damage goblins to clear attack lane to opposing avatar. Keep units at both quests to mana sieve during opponents quest phase. Hold off on playing Slippers until it would put you in shadow faction. Use slippers and avatar trait to gain power and draw advantage. Keep pressure on opponent early and throughout the game. Save disables for important abilities like Turtleskin, Fiery Inferno, etc.
